The open heart

i wrote this poem jst after i broke up with my boyfriend again

An open heart,
is like a rose,
always open,
never closed,

forever the heart,
is always hurt,
time & time again,
trying to repair,

the heart is always broken,
trying to repair it's damage,
forever the heart,
is always torn,

this open heart,
needs someone to love,
you are always in my mind,
you are always above,

so the time,
is now to say,
goodbye for this,
heart is always open,
never closed!

That's so moving, it really is.

I'm sorry you are hurting. For what it's worth, I've been through exactly the same thing twice and written many a poem too.
