Deleting Threads in the Intros Forum.
When I tried to delete my thread from the Intros Forum I noticed there wasn't a delete button when I clicked on "Edit" On threads in other forums I've seen the delete button so is there another way to delete threads in Intros?
Am I just going mad? (More than likely!)
Kiran

as far as i know you cant delete them, you have to ask for a mod to delete the thread

I think this forum is the same in that, as Linda said - you can ony delete the thread if nobody has replied?
If you ever want a thread deleted for good reason (obviously if everyone added and deleted threads all over the place everyone would ge vrey confused) then simply report the thread and ask the Mod who deals with it to delete it, stating the reason :)
Hope that helps
Harley

I actually only wanted to delete my reply to a thread because I accidentally posted it twice. Sorry if I didn't make that clear enough.
Thanks though Harley!

Trouble is while this would be really handy to allow members to do on their own for some of the time, the majority of the time it would just cause confusion, and allow members to make flaming posts which were read, then deleted, for example.
Best thing is simply to report the post asking a Mod to do it. They are very happy to help and post reports are dealt with quicker now than ever before in RYL's history, so it won't take much longer than doing it yourself!
