I'm diabetic, but as far as I'm aware, medicine shouldn't cause diabetes.
Possibly some side effects of some meds could put you at greater risk of developing type 2 diabetes (more commonly associated with lifestyle).
On some meds you have to have a really close eye kept on you, because they can affect your blood sugar levels, but I couldn't give you a list.
Your GP will be able to tell you way better than I can!!
