Hypomania

what symptoms/signs do you get/show? Do your episodes vary...some are "happy"....some are "irritable".....do you ever get angry hypomania?

I think I'm coming out of a depressive episode into an angry state of hypomania but I don't know. I am being seen by a crisis team and they're coming to see me everyday. I will ask them but I was just curious.

i get hypomania. there are 2 different types ive had:

type one
i feel angry
thoughts are too fast thats its scary
i try to break my hands
im in fast motion and everyone else is sooooo slowww
i am angry that nooone realises how special i am
i go on "missions" but not really sure what they are
i drink loads to try and calm down
i get no sleep and im like an engine that doesnt switch off
i fidget loads and keep tapping my feet or rocking back and forth

type 2
i feel light, happy, like im on ecstacy actually
i feel like i neeed to be fast
im really happy because everyone knows that im god's gift
i want to do everything and make plans that i actually never do
i feel like i love everyone
i spend lots of money but it doesnt bother me cos i can do anything
i have lots of confidence

Yes, I'm on lamotrigine, risperidone, lorazepam, zopicline and just started citalopram.

Um it did but I'm not on a very high dose - 150mg - what are you on?

same. i was on 275mg and it made me go like a zombie. Im on aripiprazole too. xx
