Romp you are doing SO SO Well.
It's now the second weekend and I know you can get through this without having a drink because you've done it before..last weekend.
You don't need to drink to stay alive sweetie.
I know its hard but we are all right behind you, cheering you on.
Stay Safe Sweetie.

Life can be beautiful if you let it.
Step back, breathe and take it in

Hi Romp, chocolate and sweets really do help you get over the cravings for alcohol.

*grabs one of your hands. Tucks chocolate candy in the other*

You'll get through this. Go have fun. Get yourself a treat. Count your blessings and make a list of five things you're grateful for. I know there's another thread for this, but it is a great tool to use when you're feeling bad. Here's my example

Blondie's gratitude list
Sobriety
Loving Husband
Loving friends
good health
freedom to travel
having a job I like
My friends on RYL

You can do it! You will get through this weekend just fine!

My husband is my best friend.

In forgiving others, we are not exonerating them. They may not deserve exoneration. Rather, in forgiving others we are giving up our anger over the fact that what happened is not what "should" have happened or that our life is not the way it "should" have been.

I hope you pushed the urge to the wayside. If not, I could stick a frog in your mouth, or just throw one at you.
