Does anyone art journal? As opposed to a written journal.
If you do, I would love to look at your stuff and be inspired and continue to stalk you forever and ever. There's a wonderful community on livejournal.com, called jr_nal and I love it so much that I cannot tear myself away. It's where I post all of my stuff, other than my private journal - belleness.
Here is some of my recent stuff. Obviously not full pages, because I post them privately but ambiguity is fun. Try it.
I find it a great way to de-stress.
Also, to make this more general than it already is: I have two interviews in the next couple of months for medicine courses and I am super excited because that's what I want to do with my life and that is more awesome than anything ever. Youloveit.
your artwork is beautiful, i usually just do a written journal although in the past i have done drawings or paintings instead. You've inspired me to start it up again!

Get a sketch book. Get some paints. Get some colouring pencils, and a black pen. Put some music on - the music you love the most. Give yourself some space, some time and peace alone and just do it. It doesn't have to be pretty. It doesn't have to make sense and by God, you will have some big disasters at times but the more of an effort I made to draw something every single day, the easier it was.
I wouldn't even be joking, or over-dramatic, if I were to say that my life has been better overall since I started doing this. It has taken place of a lot of negative things in my life and lessened the stress I feel so I am able to enjoy all of the other stuff. Just give it a try - you can keep it all to yourself, and never show anyone ever, so it doesn't have to be perfect all of the time; right?

i sort of do that.sometimes. i have books & books & pads of paper & walls [my mum bought me paper to stop me drawing on the walls but still 3 years later i do sometimes] of drawings & scribbles & pictures & stuff.

we only had a black and a red pen & like...everyone elses hair would just be an outline but i'd always have to have a big red blob on my head. :(
