Otay - so I log off and log back in and the site has decided to mark unread posts that I have definately already read..... even if I was the last to post.
Also if I am the last to reply in a Forum, then go out of it - it still looks as though there is something to read. I go back in and there is nothing. I go back out and then it looks as though there is nothing new.... I think that is what was happeneing.
To get threads to behave, I have to traverse back up the breadcrumbs. Like, go back to the board listing, then the section that board is in, and finally back to the main forum listing.
I'm back baby! I've nicked my sisters laptop and I'm on our wireless network (meanwhile my computer is still not loading any pages from here, all other sites are fine though).
But yeah, on this computer, absolutely everything is unread again. Gah.
What I've found is that if you go into the board, reads all of the new posts and come back out again, it won't mark it as read. But, if you actually click on the name of the board again, go in and come back out, it'll mark everything as read. Other than that, it's working fine for me.
^ I think I know what you mean and yea, that works most of the time for me... but not when I log out and log back in, then most of them are all unread again.
Yeah, it's doing exactly the same to me, Emma.
It's alright, and I can deal with it, but it does get a tad frustrating having to remember to click on the name of the board first.

Same for me too. It keeps marking everything unread, when I know i've read it, or I'm even the last person to post.
On a side note, does anyone miss the "viewed thread" marker?

I keep marking forums as read when I've read them, but if I log off, go and do something, and come back, they'll be unread even if there's nothing new. *scowls*
