Meds Experience Bank

Hey,

I was thinking, when I was making my thread about the drug propranolol that if there was a bank of experiences of about each drug, people would be able to seek out personal experiences about any type of drug. Because it would be stickied or in the advice sections all the responses would be in one place and you could look over hundreds of experiences with different drugs. This is because I know for me when I take on a new drug finding out the side effects on a list isnt enough because I want to know how it affects someone's life and what they think of it and their experiences with the drugs. It'd be like a personal portfolio of medications.

We could even expand it to things like CAMHS or being an inpatient. It gives that extra feeling of assurance that people have been here before and this was their experience - and even if won;t be the same its still very reassuring. I hope I've made good sense. Thanks for reaidng.

Psychiatric Hospital. There is also a section on the main site about Seeking Professional Help.

As for the medication, I believe they are also work on a page on the main site for that. It has, however, not begun. It's titled "Medication Dictionary" so I assume it is something like what you're talking about - which, by the way, is a good idea as a reference. The page just isn't ready yet so I won't bother linking, but it will be under the first aid section. There is, however, a small piece on Why am I on it? (Medication)
