ears, cant hear, ear drops. question
Can ya buy ear drops that disolve wax from chemist? or do they have to be prescribed?
Cant see a nurse at doctors till tommorrow afternoon and im more than half deaf in both ears. Tis driving me mad!

you can buy them from a chemist - you dont need a presciprtion or anything
how weird is it when that happens!! have you had your ears syringed before to get teh wax out? (slightly gross but yeah...:P) its soooo weird - i had to haev it done a few months back

tis driving me loopy. what little bit i can hear is going right thru me really muffled. had to speak to my gp on phone about an hour ago about my medication (easier than appointment) and he sounded like he was talking from inside an empty tin of baked beans lol

Almond oil from heath shops warmed up slightly and pipetted (if thats a word) into your ear is good too.

thats what the chemist told me to use. Bit random but hey. Didnt quite do the job but its helped a bit. bought some ear-ex as well. Going glastonbury in 13 days. It has to go by then lol

Virgin olive oil (Y) it's really good, but i dont recommend it cold. >D!
It's really good for loads of things apparently, like some wonder... oil.

Doctors wont syringe your ears until you have tried other methods for at least 3 months.
Are they defo blocked?
As mentioned above, Olive oil warmed twice a day is the best thing. That is better than using over the counter drops, as these can scrath the surface of your ear.
You should notuse cotton buds in your ears either.
But yeah, get them checked out all the same.
