Dear Santa,
Dear Santa,
So it's Christmas again, my last as a teenager. It's been tough, and although i know i've not done alot with myself, and i've wasted alot of chances along the way, i hope i've done enough right over the last few years to deserve one last favour. There's alot of kids around the world getting spoiled with gifts when they don't deserve it. i don't want anything for myself, i want you to stop giving. People don't want gifts in the form of computer games, John Lewis gift vouchers, bikes, perfumes & CD's, they want a meaningful family meal, to laugh as they pull crackers with there parents and siblings, they want to feel safe in there living room as the family sit and talk about the funny times in the past. I want you to make Christmas about a time to show love and affection, and not through the form of material. It's great growing up and having fun on Christmas day, but as you get older, it loses it's spirit, it becomes less about the toys and more about belief, reflection, and being with your loved ones. But we don't appreciate this because we're brought up thinking Christmas is about you, and the things you'll give us regardless of how we've acted all year. I want you to stop giving us all presents, and i want you to give one last gift. Restore Christmas from the commercial hanging it's taken on over time. I know it isn't much to do with religion for most people, for them you've got to give them a real Christmas. No more kids yearning for the 25th because of all the toys they'll get, but children growing up knowing that this is a time for family and emotion.
Thanks, i hope you'll listen, it's for the best.
James x
P.S. Could you get me a hot chocolate with that girl i like ?
