Save My Hair
Well I'm going red with my hair
but it used to be black so I had to bleach it
as you can imagine it is now in horrible condition.
I'm dying it on tuesday in time for Xmas buuuut right now I need to get it as not fried as possible.
So does anyone know any really good hair-rescue products for really dry/damaged hair?
I'm going into town tomorrow to buy them (with orange/blonde hair lolz).
You will be saving my hair.

bleaching out black is a right bugger,I had the same issue.I personally havent had to use any rescue stuff since my hair is so strong but i use dove in the blue bottle since it is for damaged hair and that often fixes my hair quite quickly.
sorry that i am not much help

My hair started falling out when I went from black to blonde! Luckily it was only the underneath I dyed but it was all different lengths lol! I used a really good deep conditioning treatment from superdrug but I cant for the life of me think what it was called, it was banana and something that was a bit of a weird combo, maybe mint i'm not sure, but you can buy it in little sachets! And I swear by tresemme =D Oh and I don't think it really helps dry/damaged hair but try mint source conditioner, it will make your head feel sooo nice after all that trauma =P

I'd use a deep conditioning mask on it. When I bleached my hair I used that and even after the first time my hair was much less dry and broken. I don't think it matters what kind but I used that Aussie stuff (can't remember it's full name sorry.) Like frankiesaysrelax says, use heat protection stuff before blowdrying and straightening. I use Lorrel Studio stuff (because it's smells GORGEOUS!) But if you can, let it dry naturally to avoid damaging it anymore. And a gentle shampoo and conditioner will let the natural oils get back onto your hair, if it's really bad use a baby shampoo on it, but anything for dry or damaged hair is good.
Hope it all goes well ^^

it helps if you use them everytime you wash your hair since its in really bad condition, also you need to think about cutting the ends off your hair since the tips will be ruiend.

why don't you just leave it for while, and not dye it?

take what you love
burn it down.

Thankyou guys :)
My hair doesn't actually feel as bad as I thought it would, but it's still fried. Deep conditioning treatments seem to be the way forwards then :D

i'm probably too late now...
but i bleached my hair and then it went bright yellow so i had to keep redying it...
and it was like straw!
so...
it helps if after you wash your hair, put conditioner on it, then wrap a towel round it for anytime between about 10 mins and 2 hours and leave it, then was off the conditioner.
it should help :)
