Now I'm Free
I havent self harmed for 3 months now. I stopped when i left the psychiatric Unit i was in for 8 weeks. I found that being there was very triggering because you are constantly around others who are self harming.
Now when i feel like i want to self harm i try to make myself just sit and think. What effect is this going to have? How are my parents going to feel?
I used to be very impulsive but i feel like i have started to conquer that now. Talking to my counsellor and my social worker have really helped.
I just want to try and help others get out of the cycle that i was in.

Thats fantatsic, you should be very proud of yourself. Its really great that you have a positive attitude towards it and you are starting on your journey towards recovery. Best of luck with it all.
