I haven't had anythingn similar but i think that the best thing to do would be to see your doctor and ask them about it as they are more likely to be able to help than we are.

I haven't had anything like that either. I know my roommate has a similar problem. Maybe a pinched nerve or something? I don't really know.
Stop by the doctors when you have some free time and ask about it. It's better than living in pain/unnormal feeling.

I have that, I've got a pinched nerve in my back, it sounds like what you have. Definitly go to the doctor, there's no point in letting it go on, it only gets worse.
Maybe try apply a hot pack or something to it, and see if that helps.

Dreaming as the days go by,
Dreaming as the summers die:
Ever drifting down the stream --
Lingering in the golden gleam --
Life, what is it but a dream?"

I have that a lot because I put strain on my muscles when I play the piano, but it can also happen lifting things or even writing or typing.
You should ask your doctor for a muscle-relaxant to start with.
