if you didnt want your tongue to hurt then you shouldnt have got it pierced in the first time.
but i think you remark about sitting at home feeling sorry for yourselves is unfair. some people arent able to just go out whenever they feel like it because of other responsibilities or being disabled (like i am)
I hope you had a good time chels, maybe sucking some ice will help with the pain of biting? I know as soon as it's going to hurt to accidentaly do something... that's what you'll do! When I hit cracked my knucle the other week on a tile edge, i swear to god I hit it on every single thing I went past!
To those who are uptight and irritating, maybe you should move your threads to support since all it's going to do is make someone else miserable and i think it was uncalled for. Staying at home all the tme doesn't help and you should get it when you can. If you can't, then i'm sorry but where do you get off snapping at someone who is obviously in a good mood!

c'mon guys .... I dont think Chels meant any offence by her 'sitting around feeling sorry for yourselves' remark, and I'm sure that she knows that not everyone's situation is as easy as that.

Ratatouille - it is painful! I thought it was one of my most painful, approached only by my vch - worse than 'normal' piercings.... although other people have said their's hurt less than other piercings - I don't know, maybe Chels will reply back to this and tell you if hers hurt to get done....
It hurt less than getting my ears done for the 4th/3rd time [4th in left ear, 3rd in right]. And it was like, 2 days and i could eat properly and stuff, so s'all good :)
Its a lovely piercing and im happy that it makes youy happy too!

I miss my toungue piercing i swallowed two balls within 48hrs and never went back to replace them i waited seven long years to have it done and i miss it sooooooo much
