I was just wondering why there isnt a penpal section on V3. If my memory serves me right, there was one on the older version of ryl. I thought it was a great way of connecting people in the site since that doesnt always happen in the forums. Is there a reason it was not included in this version? Thanks
It hasn't been included on V3 yet because there was little point when all profiles are searchable anyway, so you could just find friends though that. And, as you can see from the above posts, not many people knew it actually existed. :P

I think its a fabulous idea. Especially on RYL where people can relate to one another.
A section should totally be made :)

You closed your eyes and had complete and utter faith.
Eventually you grow up. One day you open your eyes and the fairy tale disappears.

I would still like to know what happened about the exchange of personal email address before... it is very unlikely anything dogey would happen, but it's best to be overly cautious.
