hmmm - I'm not really that familiar with the arcade games, but I thought that you'd only get the option of submitting your score if you were in the top ten scores .... and then, I think the decision was made to only have a person's name mentioned ONCE in the top scores ... so even if you had your name in as the 6th top person, but then you got a score that would mean that you were also the 8th top person, I think you are only allowed to have your name in the list once.

Hopefully some of the other staff and members who know more about these arcade games and the scoring system can reply on this thread, but it would probably help them in answering your question if you could give more details about the problems you are having - ie - what arcade game is this happening on, what have you been able to do up until now with your score, and what's happening now ... that sort of thing - the more detailed your description of the problem, the more likely it is that someone will be able to understand enough to help you out.

1) Do you mean that people keep deleting your new scores?

2) Do you mean that there is a technical problem, that is disallowing you to post new scores?
__

1) Various staff members, but not all, have the ability to delete any scores which are lower than your highest score, and do try and keep the score boards as clean as they possibly can.
In the Arcade, you are only permitted your highest score, and the rest should be deleted once you get them, unless they exceed your top score. If they do exceed your top score, then you should delete the score you have just beaten. This is in place so that RYL members get the chance to have a fair place on the leader boards, without peoples scores taking up places on the board pushing people down unnecessarily.
Usually, a staff member will PM you if they feel as if there's some sort of problem with your scores, and will remind you friendly-y that you should only be keeping your top score - especially in the top 20.
However, people don't always receive PMs, as they are not automated or anything, but we do all try our best & keep a track of the PMs sent, etc.
Saying that, often staff members won't feel the need to PM someone if they are only deleting the odd score here and there, and perhaps that's why you haven't been alerted.

2) This may be due to a technical issue, and therefore someone else would need to help you with this - like James! I'm not sure if anyone else has had a similar problem, and I haven't played a game and submitted a score in a while, personally.
__

Either way, you haven't really done anything wrong. :)
Please remember to delete your scores which do not exceed your highest, though.

I hope this doesn't come across in the wrong way, and enjoy the Arcade!

Take care, xxo

I wasn't accusing you of not doing it, but making a point just in case that was what you were getting at, or something. :)

That's really odd. o_O
Perhaps try deleting your cookies, logging out & back in again, etc.
If none of that seems to work, and it doesn't sort itself out, perhaps try PMing James, or searching this board to see if anyone else has had a similar problem. xx

How do you delete the scores? I knew we're supposed to do it but don't know how.
