Yea, i cut this morning, and i thought that would be it, but just as i was about to go to bed, i cut again, it's normal, not deep, just managebale, then i cut again, but this time its deeper, a bit deeper, the wound is gaping, a cm at most, but im feeling quite dizzy, and i'm at a neighbours house watching their house and pets while they're on holiday, i stumbled to my house getting my tshirt bloody and got a few of my supplies, i'm keeping pressure on it and so forth, but 'm feeling sick and dizzy, it's not stopping bleeding just yet, it seems to be slowing with pressure but as soon as i lift it up it bleeds again, i can't go to sleep with it bleeding, got work at 7am in the morning, already 1, got to get up at 5, what should i do? I cant get their blanket bloody. :(:(:(
I feel tired, dizzy and as if i could collapse, any advise?

On a long enough time line, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.
It sounds like you've really done some damage and I sugegst you get some medical assistance as soon as possible. Do you really think you'll be able to work today? Personal advice would be to get your cuts attended to and also keep your fluids up, especially if you are feeling faint, and keep pressure on it. If it is still bleeding, call an ambulance, do you think it requires sticthces?
I hope you're okay and that you can perhaps tell us a bit more about what is going on for you. If it is still bothering you, get in contact with a first aid advisor, (Angel Dust , Bitter_Angel or Guardian angel) or call NHS direct.
It sounds like you could be entering shock and you need to see a doctor right away. Any wound that bleeds for more then 10 minutes with direct pressure applied is a serious wound and needs to be seen. You will probably need stitches.
It also sounds like you may have lost enough blood that you are entering shock, and you may need to get fluid at the hospital so you feel better.
I suggest getting SOMEONE ELSE! to drive you to an A&E/ER (DO NOT DRIVE YOURSELF!!!) Or calling an ambulance right away.

Well it breaks my heart to see you this way,
The beauty in life, where's it gone?
And somebody told me you were doing okay,
Somehow I guess they were wrong.
Thanks for the advise, i fell asleep, but i'm ok! It's stopped bleeding, although it is gaping, i'm really really scared about going to the doctors, about it, i've never been before related a SH. :(
I feel a bit better, and i'l walk to work, i don't feel too dizzy now, like someone said i'l just keep my fluids up. If it's not better after im finished at work (Only a short 6 hour shift) then i'l have to go, i'l clean it and re bandage it now. Thanks alot for the advise.

Don't worry about the Doctors-I went once for an infection (and boy-I'm covered!) and I figured they'd be horrible-but it was really okay-they fixed me up proper! Just say it really casually "I want you to look at my self inflicted wounds-they look too deep"
Hey, this morning i got showered, used antiseptic on it, put steri strips over it and bandaged it, i went to work, it still hurts like hell, and unfortunatley working in a DIY store i'm expected to lift, alot.
But, i told them i sprained my arm so i couldn't do the heavier jobs, i'm now back home, i'm not taking anything off just yet, the dizziness seems to have gone, i've been eating and getting my sugars up, i'm hoping it will close by itself :( If it's not started to heal by tommorow i'l consider going to the doctors, i really don't want to go :( Thanks for the advice and for helping, i didn't know what to do.

In the future if you have a wound that you think needs stitches, or does not stop bleeding after 10 minutes of direct pressure, you need to go to the doctors right away and not wait. Generally you can only get stitches within 12 hours of the initial injury, doctors rarely will give you stitches after that.

I really feel strongly against the doctors at the moment, basically i'm scared. I've never been for a SH related injury so it would be like a "First time" :( i just don't want to go :(

you have to make sure it doesn't get any worse.
is there anyway you could make it look like it wasn't a SH injury.
if not then you'll have to.
i know it's scary, but remember they can't judge you because they don't know you, and really they're not their to judge you anyway.
i hope it all works out sweets
Some people have had bad experiences at the ER/A&E but not all places are like that. You can always lie about how you got the cut, or if you are over the legal drinking age tell them you were drunk and don't remember. You might get a lecture, but really, the nurses and doctors have rules and regulations they have to follow. They have to legally act in the best interest of the patient, even if sometimes the patient doesn't agree.

Hey, I don't think I've seen you around here before but that's probably because I'm fairly new to begin with. *waves*
OK..now down to business...
First of all, if your wound is infected, you should head to the doctor immediately. Which is worse: facing embarrassment at the doctor's office or possibly having the infection spread? Not trying to scare you or anything; I'm only impressing upon you the importance of having your wound attended to by a professional if it is indeed infected. I've never had an infection in any of my wounds, but I have had total strangers look at my wounds before, and trust me when I say it's not going to be that scary. It makes you feel uneasy, of course, and maybe frightened and a little angry (or very angry, in my case), but in the end, who cares what a stranger's viewpoint on your self-harm is? Like others have said, they don't know you and have no right to judge, and very few GOOD doctors judge their patients.
You seem to already have good reason to believe your wound is infected, but here are some pointers anyway. Some of the ways to tell if a wound is infected include:
Red and swollen skin around the wound
Drainage or a foul odor
Warm skin around the area as compared to nearby skin or skin on the opposite extremity
Please see a doctor. Infections can lead to other complications and it's important to treat an infected wound with antibiotics as early on in the infection as possible.
If you need any support or just someone to chat with feel free to PM me.
So long ago, was it in a dream, was it just a dream?
I know, yes I know
Seemed so very real, it seemed so real to me
Took a walk down the street
Through the heat whispered trees
I thought I could hear
Somebody call out my name as it started to rain
Two spirits dancing so strange
Ah! böwakawa poussé, poussé --John Lennon
I would advise you to get the wound checked out. Between now and then, I would recomened putting plenty of Anti-bacterial cream onto the wound. Place a non stick gauze over the top and bandage it, prefreably with an ACE wrap or Tubi grip. Change the dressing twice a day and make sure you put plenty more cream on each time.
