struggling *updated*

There is just so much going on these days! Planning the wedding, the fiance's kids hating me, getting **** from his ex girlfriend on a regular basis, being stuck in a room in a house of people that don't speak any english. My best mate is leaving for Jamaica permanently on the 3rd of Dec and I am going to miss her like nothing else. I just feel like I'm losing control and there's nothing I can do about it. I just really don't know what to do. My whole world seems to be falling apart at the seams and I can't keep it together. I just don't know what to do!

Don't panic, Babe.
Things will sort themselves out. Your friend is not going to drop off the face of the earth, there are several ways to keep in touch.
the fiance's kids can go to hell, it's not them you're going to marry. And the ex seems like a jealous cow, so don't worry about that. If she gets too bad you can always go to the police and ask for a restraining order. Or report her for stalking (that is highly illegal). Then if she continues, she will go to prison.

Also - don't forget, it's your wedding, not anyone elses. If you want something, have it. If you don't want something and someone else does, don't have it - you don't have to.

I think the thing to do is to concentrate on the good things - you have a guy that loves you, that wants to be with you.
You have a very good friend and a free place to stay in Jamaica.
And you can yell at the people in your house and say what you want. And they won't understand a thing.
Cool!

Take care

It sounds really stressful but Trucktastic is 100% correct in what she said and eventually it will all sort itself out even if it doesn't feel like it right now.

I'm sorry I have no more to offer
*hugs*

Another night, more **** from his ex and his kids. Why can't they just be happy that he is happy with me. His kids are lying and saying that I bully them and other bs. It's putting a strain on our relationship and I don't know what to do to make it better. Every day it seems like somebody else is stirring stuff in this thing I call life and I really don't know how much more I can take of it. I have nobody to talk to about it and I just feel like I'm so alone and can't do anything to make things better.

Sometimes I just feel like I should end my chance of happiness just to keep everyone else happy. But I don't want to end my relationship with this guy. He is the best thing that's ever happened to me and I really don't want to lose him. He's been through so much with me and my recovery and I don't think I could cope without him.

You don't need to give him up but the thing is he should have more trust in you. At the end of the day they are his kids but he should know you well enough to know that you wouldn't be bullying the kids. They may just be jealous, feel like they are competing with you for their dads attention. Have you tried talking to him about how alone you feel? Sorry if this hasn't been much help xx
