they are a great band or at least they were before Tarja left, i'm not sure how well they've replaced her as i'm yet to get the new album

Agreed. I've not heard the new material since Tarja left but their old music is great!

Actually I picked Captain Nemo because of Sarah Brightman's song and I identified with the character somewhat. I didn't stumble across Nightwish's Nemo until later.

Old nightwish is 100 times better in my opinion.I actually hate the new singers voice and the new albumhas disapointed me greatly but i may be seeing them next year if i can afford to.

Ohh I heard some of their stuff on a mates ipod *goes to search for some nightwish stuff*

The first song i heard was Nemo, and went out the very next day to buy their album.

Now, I am a huge fan of the Phantom of the Opera, and Nightwishes cover of the title song makes me so happy. Her voice is perfect and his is the best Phantom voice i have heard.
