So there's been an influx in people posting what seems like a genuine question, but slipping in something about Thai dating, marriage tours, romance with those over seas.
They're not providing links or information about this, so I'm wondering what their purpose is? What are they aiming for? They're not really promoting anything, just mentioning it within a question that kind of relates to the site.
They started off by promoting an marriage tour website so the mods banned them. They think they are being clever by not openly promoting marriage tours website but they could easily advertise which is why their threads keep on being deleted.
Also they have lots of accounts but with only one post. If they were genuinely after help they would stick to one account.

Yes, I understand that. I just don't get why they're posting without adversiting any specific service. I guess it could encourage people to google them, but it wouldn't benefit their sites specifically.
Hi all, thanks for flagging this! We are aware and are banning when we come across them, but your post reports really help us out so if you do notice any odd posts that mention dating sites/marriage tours or you just get a weird feeling about a user please do flag it.
Thanks for being patient with us, we aren't always available to deal with reports straight away but you really help us out by reporting :) I expect it's a weird way to advertise but it's definitely odd! They all seem to have a very similar email address so it probably is a bot or an organisation trying to advertise.
Thanks ModGods! I didn't know if they were genuine or not, I just noted a consistent mentioning of dating/marriage tours, international dating and such. Seemed unusual, but will report in future!

Some of the banned users are bots so I assume that they are programmed to visit unless their account is deleted. I do wonder if a banned member can see all the posts made but not able to post or if they can only see the main page only?

But members who were banned months even years ago still appear. Which I think is the point that nonperson is trying to make.

Yeah, I remember noticing that happening one time with a banned member. I don't think we got to the bottom of it, my best theory was that if they tried to logon it would show up as them online, even if they only got as far as the "No way José, you're banned*" screen.
I'm getting super bored of this spam I wish Mike or someone would come online to make some parody spam like the discounted ugg boots stuff Back In The Day.
