Coping with a depressive episode.

My mood has been slowly getting lower. Yesterday it really crashed.
I've been tearful and irritable. Yesterday I had a meltdown and had to go for a walk to stop it spiralling.

I'm struggling with motivation. The last few days I've been struggling to find any enjoyment. It's hard to concentrate and know what to say to people.

I recognise that this is probably depression. I just don't really know what to do.
Could do with some support and ideas

Hey Luna,

Sorry your mood has been getting lower! What used to give you enjoyment? It's very difficult to find the motivation to do much because it feels like too much effort but try and do things that may give you some enjoyment.

Welldone for going for a walk and keep yourself distracted. As hard as it may was it was good and you said that it stopped things f m spiralling out and you may have done something you may of regrettied later.

Is there anything right now that you do have the motivation to do? Keeping to a routine and doing lots of self care would be good. It may help your mood from getting lower.

What usually keep you going? Have you still been seeing P? Or have any professional support?
