Stopping medication.

I'm on Depixol depot and Aripiprazole, I've already successfully stopped the latter. My CPN knows this but my psychiatrist think a I'm on it again
How can I stop the depot. Should I just not turn up to my appointment. Thy can't section me can they?

If it matter I've been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and Eupd.

When I was on the depo, I stopped having it because I though it was poison.
They didn't section me, but I later became rather unwell due to not taking it so ended up in hospital anyway.
Why do you want to stop it?

For that exact reason, beckie.
It's ****ing poison. The medication is feeding the demon inside me. I can taste it's bitter, evil bile everyday. It's supposed to get rid of it but it hasn't. I won't to live and this will kill me.
It's not making me holy, it's suffocating me with dreams of sin and impurity.

I need it out of my system.

Could you talk to your psych or Cpn about it?
It would be better to try and talk about it and maybe try and agree to try another medication.
They may not section you for refusing the depo (or they might, teams and people vary) but you will probably end up getting unwell and having no choice but to go into hospital where they can force the depo.
It would be a lot better if you could talk to your team now than let things spiral out of control.

I'll talk to my team, Beckie. But, if they don't listen I'll have to take things into my own hands. Sorry.

Talked to my team. My CPN wants to email my psychiatrist to see if I can my OPA moved forwards. She didn't listen to me and end of my March means two 1depots before they'll consider it so I'm just not going to have it.
