depends. I'm old-fashioned and think the guy should pay (or if it's a same sex couple, maybe whoever asked the other out?...I don't know if there's standards for that or not?). But it really depends on the couple. I think it's changing now-a-days, and I think soon it'll be the norm for each to pay for their own? I don't know.
