Need help fom addiction and depression
Is there any connection between depression and addiction? I'm not sure whether I began to use drugs to get rid of my depression or the use of this drug made me depressed. Well, I have been addicted to heroine for more than 3 years and am also having antidepressants. My doctor advised me to stop the intake of this drug in order to get rid of my depression. But you know, the thing is that, whenever I try to stop the intake of it, I will get more depressed. What am I supposed to do? Now I'm planning to join in Canada drug rehab center, an addiction treatment center in Toronto. Recently I read that it's hard to get rid of heroine if you are suffering from depression. Is there any connection between addiction and depression? Share your thoughts and suggestions.
