People think I faked my car crash.

People on a social media website are saying I faked my car crash and my too-early PTSD diagnosis (my doctors fault). However, the DSM5 that includes PTSD says the duration of symptoms should be a month or more, which they will be soon...I dont know what to do. I'm told i'm lying when i'm not, despite my claim form evidence, my hospital evidence etc..it's making me feel even WORSE than I do with my flashbacks, depression, anxiety, detachment. What do I do ? Do I get my official, proper diagnosis of PTSD from a psychologist or? I need mental help..

Hi there, sorry you've had such a negative experience with people on social media. I know it's hard, but you really need to ignore them. They know nothing of your life and what you experience and their opinions are irrelevant to you. Could you block these people so that you don't have to see their comments?

Did you doctor refer you for any sort of follow-on treatment after diagnosing you with PTSD?

No other sadness in the world would do

Try not to care about what people on social media think. YOU know it's real. Your doctor believes you.

What help are you being given for the PTSD?

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

you once called your brain a hard drive, well say hello to the virus.

I meet the DSM requirements..they say I can't be diagnosed until 6 months but the DSM has been updated to say symptoms only have to last over a month, which has been the case. I have therapy sessions..but I still hate everything lol.
