What is it with postmen!

I'm home and they stick a note through my door saying i wasn't in when they come to deliver my music parcel! I was in my room playing the flute with the door open-so not only would i have heard the door bell, but they would have heard me!!!! I'm going to have to get it from town now. Grhhhh some postmen! Now i don't have my new music.

Ah, that's a bit mean!
Our postmen do that too.
I hope you get it back soon!

that sucks, my postman is pretty good, he usually sticks parcels and stuff in the cupboard and then pushes a note through the door :)

Our normal postman (Pete!) is normally ok, but i think he's away so we have a different one.

That Does My Head In!

Seriously, postmen do that waaaaaaay too often.
Maybe they've got social anxiety so don't want to ring doorbells *giggles*.

Ride it out.

A music parcel eh?
That sounds like a box that you open and music comes out...
Like you can wrap up sounds.
Ok, don't mind me I'm deranged.

I hate it when the postman does that!
My postman is usually quite nice though and rings my door bell and he comes later on in the morning so he doesn't wake me up either.

And the world spins madly on...

once my postie 'apparantly' came to deliver some concert tickets to my door. yet did not even leave a note to say he had been!
It was that late I eventually called the post office to ask why they had not arrived when they said I had an attempted delivery. If it had been a day later they would have been returned to sender!
I am not psychic! Hence why they created notes!

Postmen have been quite good to me recently but i remember my mum telling me that once they called and she was getting out of bed to come and collect the parcel and by the time she had got to the door, the postman was back in his van. She opened the door and he just laughed, waved and drove off!
Idiot!

I like my postman. Oh yes. <3.

But that kind of acting is MEAN! It's their job to deliver post to you.. and not be that kind of mean mofos.. grrr...
I'm happy we in Finland don't have problems like that.. Home delivery is not usual here and it costs much.. And they call you before taking the packet to you to make sure you're home..

Our postman usually comes between 11am and 1pm. But one day he came at 3pm! We were like wtf?! It has usually been and gone by now!!
I hate postmen...I really do.

My postman is hawt!
And so nice. I was out when he was delivering a parcel but he saw me driving home when he was in another street so he came all the way back to mine and gave me the parcel!

That's happened to my mum before too! And once she walked passed the front door to find a postman outside writing the letter thing when he hadn't even knocked!

Royal Mail are pointless and stupid. We'd do better delivering our post ourselves.
