We always have a Christmas pudding at ours and I think they are fairly popular but as they are heavy on raisins etc not everyone likes them!
When we make a pudding by hand rare our family puts a pound coin wrapped in foil in the pudding but alas store bought puddings don't have them
I have never heard of clotted cream being used per se the most traditional is brandy butter which was shown in the first video it's butter with lots of brandy and icing sugar mmmmm!
My mum makes Cointreau butter instead as she likes the orangey taste!
The first video didn't have anywhere near enough brandy in it! You need it to burn for a while haha!
Thanks - I was beginning to think the puddings were extinct lol.
I have to stop watching the bird's channel because I want to try 25 things now. Jelly Babies, Wispas, Cadbury Crunchies - I have a list lol.
