you hit me
i cant hit you back
i have scars
that are not my own
you can't stand to look at mine
but thats cuz it reminds you
of what you've done to me
about the torture you put me through
protection i seek
but cannot attain from you
because these horrors remain
it may have been a long time ago
but the scars are always there
it only takes once to abuse the trust
it only takes once to break my heart
you hit me
i can't hit you back
all i do is sit and cry
