I am currently:
Medication question: Epilim

I have recently seen a psychiatrist as it's been a long time since I saw one and I've been on 20mg of Lovan since 05/06 and now I've been put on 200mg/twice daily of Epilim and I was wondering if headaches were a normal side effect or not? I am feeling alone and unsure because it will only be two weeks on the medication this coming Wednesday. Wanted to see if anyone else has had experiences? Thanks x

I've taken epilim (sodium valproate) and as far as I remember headaches are a normal side effect. Can you give it a few weeks and see if they go away?

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

you once called your brain a hard drive, well say hello to the virus.

Yes headache is a side effect. It is listed under "common" side effects on the Electronic Medicines Compendium.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.
