Wound Care Question - wont stop bleeding...

Hi sorry this is kinda a quick one, i think iv cut too deep, it wont stop bleeding and its been quite a while now... i dont know what to do, if my mum sees all the blood im screwed.... iv put a bandage on it hoping it mite stop it, will that b ok? do u think it wil help?
really desperate, any comments wud b really useful... thanks

it it wont stop bleeding you need to get it looked at.. it may need stiches.. please dont just hope it will stop. can you get to a casualty department.. or your local dr.

Hun you really can't leave this you need to get it checked out, sounds like you have cut too deep and probaly need stitches. Try and get yourself down to your local A&E or doctor. It could get infected too if you leave it. Losing too much blood can be quite harmful for you too.

its ok now, its stoppd bleeding (eventualy)... iv cleand it up an all, but it just looks so pathetic now, ther all pretty small and i just feel so **** about it i dont know why... its like it hurt when i did it, but lookn at it now it looks so small and insignificant, it dusnt feel like it did hurt and it doesnt feel like all the blood even meant anything, i want to go do it again... do any of u ever feel like that, like when you look at ur cuts later that they are tiny, like they dont look like anything, but it hurt and bled like hell wen u did it, but now it just looks pathetic?

If it bled for more than 10 minutes with pressure on it, you need to get checked out by a doctor, not only beucase you probably need stitches, but also to be assessed for blood loss.
