happiness feeling fragile. anyone relate?
I keep going through this annoying cycle of emotions and i'm not sure entirely what's fueling it, whether its something that everyone experiences, and if its just part of life...
Basically, when i've done something good, or had a laugh with a friend or a nice phone call, i feel happy. But it feels fragile, as if anything could come along and just ruin it. It feels like it's not sustainable and now, when i am happy, i have this sinking feeling as if to say, how long will this last? This usually occurs more often when im alone.
Can anyone relate?
I know there is no normal way of thinking or feeling as we're all different, but i duno. I got poorly around 15 and have been in and out of hospital/unwell for quite a lot of the last 10 years and now i don't know how im meant to feel. I'm probably not making sense or being too analytical.
It's a horrible feeling though, a sense of dread. Feeling happy feels nice, so why can't i just enjoy it and stop worrying about it being stolen from me?
