Moving to Ealing

Hey guys,

So I'm moving to london next week and decided I need a counsellor. Im done with trying to get better myself, or through nhs.

Does anyone have any recommendations, or ideas about where would offer evening (preferably free or cheap) sessions in ealing area?

Much thanks :)

I live quite close (I work in Ealing) . I don't know about private services but you'd come under WLMHT which is quite good. Can I ask why you've ruled our the NHS? They vary massively between areas so even if one service was full of hopelessly craps staff, it doesn't mean all services are.

It doesn't matter where you come from; it matters where you go.
No-one gets remembered for the things they didn't do.
We won't all be here this time next year,
so while you can take a picture of us.
We're definitely going to hell,
but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

I work for west London and live under their services. Some of the Ealing services are good.

Metanoia is based in Ealing Common and apparently they have low cost counselling?

Thanks guys :)

Ive been with NHS for 7 years now, between 3 different areas and of the 9 people I have seen with them, there was only 1 that was any good. The waiting times and all that are frustrating. Also, I've never experienced NHS MT appointments that would offer evening or weekend appointments, and as i will be working 8-6, that wouldn't work.

I've used Metanoia in the past - they were good. It's trainees, but they are well trained and supervised
