Hypomania.

I'm going hypomanic. This has happened before when I was about to relapse.

I'm seeing my psych today but she's very medication cautious.

I don't know how to get it through to her that I need another regular medication, not just olanzapine. I can't take prn clonazepam every day.

I had a meltdown this morning and made part of my hand go black. Because I constantly have HUGE amounts of energy. No matter how much I clean, exercise or move about, I still have loads of energy.

I've been sleeping 4-5 hours a night and rarely been tired.

Ive lost weight. I am constantly jittery. My OCD has become beyond severe.

Advice?

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

Print this out, or take a picture of your post on your phone, and show it to her. You've explained it really well!

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

you once called your brain a hard drive, well say hello to the virus.

When I am hypomanic I find that the more I do the more energy I have so rather than trying to burn the energy I have I try to sit somewhere quiet and slow myself down.

When I am hypomanic my OCD just spirals. If it is affecting your sleep and you're ability to be comfortable and calm, medication should be questions. Right now, I am unmedicated and it is so damn difficult. I like what someone said above me, print this out and show them.

Also, try to keep track of your sleep every night. I've realized when I am hypomanic that I don't actually realize how little I am sleeping and that can lead to a deep crash.

Thanks all.

My psych gave me extra clonazepam. And I did what you suggested.

I am doing a bit better now except for moments where I get very hyper. I'm using meditation and clonazepam to help.

I've got a chest infection now though.

I'm glad to hear they gave you extra meds to help. Have you got antibiotics for the infection?

But I'm not cursed, I'm not cursed
I was just covered in dirt, dirt, dirt, dirt.

Thanks. No antibiotics as the chest infection isn't awful. I am feeling surprisingly mild.
