Psychiatrist

So I see a psychiatrist recommended by a friend on Tuesday. I'm very worried after the community health psychiatric worker that I won't be believed; that they will say I have enough to cope so why aren't I coping? I have an allergic reaction that looks very self harmy also but really isn't. After such bad experiences and with so little to go from in my earlier treatment I'm so uncertain even if I'm making it all up but at the same time serious things could happen without me knowing. Any support or experiences welcome

I'm in a very similar position as you know.
Your struggles are very real and I'm sure they will believe you. Try not to doubt yourself- you're not making anything up; you're finding things hard right now and deserve support.

I just feel like they'll say I'm too big. I don't know if I have enough control to get really unhealthy. It shocks me that I want to get that bad and I feel like a fraud because I'm not small in any way and shouldn't want to be. I don't know. My friend who recommended the psychiatrist has faith but I'm just terrified
