Is this an episode???
The last 3 days I've been really happy, loving life and sleeping very little.
I don't have any hallucinations or strange thoughts so I'm not psychotic.
But my team are concerned and have made me increase my anti psychotic.
I don't feel ill or out of control. I'm being very sensible and doing calming things.
How do i tell if this is a manic episode? It doesn't feel bad enough.
It's like I'm not allowed to be happy

Can you think of some differences between happiness and mania/hypomania?
If you're happy you can still sleep and eat normally. You're not sped up or restless. Your emotions feel 'normal', and you're not consumed by the things you feel happy about.
In contrast if you're manic/hypomanic you'll probably feel incredibly energetic and don't feel like sleeping. You may become obsessed by something and think about it a lot. You could feel really restless and like you need to be doing something all of the time, your thoughts are fast and you can't settle.
It may be that they've seen some warning signs of mania and wanted to nip it in the bud before it got too bad.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…
you once called your brain a hard drive, well say hello to the virus.

Sarah has good advice there.
What calming things are you doing? Are you doing them because you feel calm, or because you are trying to calm yourself?

I'm doing calming things to self sooth and manage destructive behaviour like drinking.
I was quite active yesterday but activity can trigger my asthma and i had an asthma attack so I've tried to stay more calm today so I'm not disturbing my asthma.
I don't think I've made any bad decisions

I believe if you are feeling happy you should go with it. Not every happy feeling is an 'episode'. Appreciate what you are experiencing, happiness is nice, it is an actual high :)
