I have BPD too..... i find timetables/scheduals help, as do to Do lists.
I make sure i have time to myself (like half an hour to an hour).
I keep in regualr contact with specific freinds... who willl chat with me if i need it/ be a sounding baord or just hang out with me.. plus i also help/support them.
Medication helps my depression, and sleep.
7-9 hours sleep a night is really beneficial.
I dont work or study full-time and havent for a long time as its too much for me- learn your limits and them put things in place to maintain them.
I go to 'talking' therapy and am learning new ways of coping.
Work out your triggers for not coping/.... for me its things like family probelms, being too busy, not enough sleep.. etc
Learn to notice when your not ok or unstable..
seek help form psych people early on if you start even considering hurting yourself..... lots of admissions to medical wards dont help and make recovery harder.
Ive no idea how old you are BUT with time and growth (physical and emotional) it does get easier.
