Tics. Treatment.

I suffer from tics, verbal and motor. Does anyone know of any non pharmacological methods of treating, or at least reducing them? I've had them since I was a kid.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

I am currently:

I'm afraid I don't have any suggestions but you aren't alone. at the moment well for a while my son has had a tic with his eye-he can't stop rapid blinking of one eye when hes nervous and sometimes when he's not even.
It really annoys him cause he says its uncomfortable,It was bought on by stress, with him I just try to ignore it cause the more attention drawn to it the worse it gets.
Is yours caused by stressful situations or are they there all the time?

Stress definitely makes them worse. But so does excitement.

I am going to try and come off caffeine, well at least mostly come off it. I posted a thread about it, sorry, I just don't want to sabotage my exams by being sedated all the time. But at the same time, I don't want to be tic-ing and agitated / restless so often.
