Nurses Day

Nurses Day is on 12 May this year (2015).

Is anyone doing anything for this? I always give my cpn a card (I shall be doing it next week because I wont be seeing her before the day otherwise).

One year I wrote

"Dear xxx,

Happy nurses day!

Thanks for the support you have given me, past, present and hopefully future!

Thanks also for the advice you have given me and for not being too painful with the injections!

and another year I also wrote

I dont know what I will write, and which card I will give (since I have more than one to choose this year!), but I thought I would remind people in case they want to reward nurses in their lives (including cpns).

BTW I have put what I wrote in previous years because it will give me inspiration for when I get around to writing it!

Thanks. She says that I am the only person out of all her patients to remember! I think that I will give her a cake as well. I like baking and I have two more cakes to make this time, so making another is not a problem.

I always give her a cake and card around Christmas, and she said that it was yummy this year.

I feel as though I have an excellent relationship with my cpn and I feel as though I can talk to her about anything - good and bad. We had a good chat once about music once.

Ok I have written the card because tomorrow is the last time I will be seeing my cpn before the nurses day.

I wrote:

I gave my cpn the card and cake before. She said that she forgets about Nurses Day and that I remind her! She seemed grateful.
