111what happens ?

I called 111 about feeling suicidal.
They said I should attend a&e within 1 hour.
What happens if I don't go?

Probably nothing. I've agreed to go before and decider against it.
But if you called them for help then maybe take their advice?

I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Who else is fine?!?!?

Not sure. It depends if you gave them your name and address? Though I don't know if they'd ring A&E to check if you went or not.

But if they told you to go and you're feeling suicidal then I think you should go.

It really depends on what you said and whether they felt you were at immediate risk. They could get the police to make a welfare check on you if they thought you were unsafe.
I hope you're ok and follow their advice x

If you're feeling that you don't know what to do and you felt unsafe enough to call them, going to A&E like they said sounds like a good idea. It doesn't necessarily have to be dramatic; it's much less likely to be if you go *before* doing anything to hurt yourself.

"I know you're sad, so I won't tell you to have a good day. Instead, I advise you to simply have a day.
Stay alive, feed yourself well, wear comfortable clothes, and don't give up on yourself just yet.
It'll get better. Until then, have a day."

I don't know if anything has Happened as it's been a few hours since you phoned but you phoned them for a reason so if you don't go to A and E make sure you look after yourself.

I think there's more chance of there being drama if you stay home but then get more unsafe and it could lead to the police being called etc.

Going to A&E would get you some help in a straightforward way.

How are you feeling now?
