I need advice

Hi everyone! I need some help! Yesterday my boyfriend and I had an argument!! Recently he had been told by a member of my family I had some counselling for my depression before I came to Australia to be with him! I have told him I have depression but not a lot of detail because it's hard for me to talk about! She also told him I was along anti depressants but I stopped them because they weren't doing any good! He is now back in realms where we are from and wants me to go back to him! I said I would in a few months time! So yesterday we had an arguement and now anytime we do and I get upset he throws my condition in my face and blames the depression for everything! I asked him to go and have a read on some of the information about depression so maybe he could understand a little about what happens! He point blank refused and said he wants to know nothing about it and doesn't want to end up like me down the line! He then started to send me links to websites on alcohol abuse saying that I am an alcoholic as well as depressed! Because my father suffers from alcoholism! This was very hurtful to me that he could use my dad against me like that! He then continued to say he did not want a "mentally disabled" girlfriend he wanted a normal girlfriend and ask could I be a normal girlfriend? All of this has hurt me a lot! I don't even know what to say! He won't even try and in my eyes the nasty words he has been using towards me it's like he is bullying me for having something I can't control at the moment! Like I don't want to be unhappy but it's not that easy! I don't know what to do to make hi realise it's wrong to say those things to anyone 😪

I'm sorry that your boyfriend is treating you in this way. I have only one question- do you really want to be in a relationship with someone who treats you like this?

I can to an extent understand people taking a little while to come to terms with the fact that their partner is suffering from an illness (be it physical or mental), but the way he has spoken to you is completely unacceptable.

No other sadness in the world would do
