I am currently:
recovery - self help options

I really want to get to a stage where I can manage my illness without services.
my cc has decided that I am still psychotic but I would like to try and manage this without a increase in meds.
I would like this because an increase in meds means an increase in side effects and when I was last on a really high dose of anti psychotic the side effects where quite unbearable.

I'm trying to collect some good resources, particularly for hearing voices and paranoia to help me manage. I think a lot of my psychotic symptoms stem from a degree of anxiety and i have read that is common so resources on anxiety would be good too

can anyone help with any good book or links to good sites.
I find cbt very helpful so it would be good if some stuff was cbt based but not essential.

Thanks

this is a good website, you've probably come across a lot of these work sheets a lot, literally every therapist uses them, and every workshop.

they're good though. xx
