How can I delete my previous account and all posts associated with it?

Hiya, I registered this new account, due to my abuser and also all my family discovering and reading content (and some of it very personal) with my old account. It was a devastating hit and has caused an untold amount of arguments and grief.

I think there should also be a warning to users about how the account was discovered. It was due to a member of my family logging into the family router and looking at browsing history associated with my computer (so even though I had used incognito mode on Google chrome, all IP addresses of websites visited are stored in the ISP provided router so can still be seen)

They obtained the profile link, so changing my username would have been totally pointless as they could still look at what I have been posting. They have not had the time to go through all of it, but they have made it clear that they plan to, so I need all content to be removed or all the posts to be deleted/edited (I can do this myself if need be) and after all content has been cleared I need the account deleted. How do I go about this?

Sorry if this has been asked before, I am just still very very hurt and upset about all this ;(

You have to have not used the account for 12 months, but it's worth asking.

Nothing on the internet is truly secret - the ISP will be able to tell which means police and security services can tell. For family to monitor individual computers means installing special software to track things.

I've been through the account and literally edited everything out that I wouldn't want my family to see, and I'm just going to be much more careful in future.

I am not worried now about the old account being there as there is no information on it any more, so mods can delete this thread.
