Here's a place to share why you have something in your signature; what meaning does it have to you or what makes you like it?
My signature consists of song lyrics from various genres. I wanted to have different styles included, so that it wouldn't just be "emo bands", but a variety of people who have touched on ideas present in these forums. Red: Move Along. If I could fit the entire song, I would. Orange: I'm Not Okay (I Promise). I've liked My Chemical Romance since I was five, so I thought they deserved the quote. Green: Somebody To Love. No one can deny Queen's poetry, making them a good choice. Blue: Cosmic Love. I might replace it with another quote from Florence, but her music needs a place here and in my mind. Purple: Turn Me On. Yes, I included a song sung by Nicki Minaj, and I took it a bit out of context, but I've heard the same message from other bands.

Last month I had a quote about October. This month, I couldn't find one about November that I liked, so I went for winter-themed, with a quote that I absolutely love.

mine is a quote from Teen Wolf. Stiles talks to the counselor and voices his fears and I could relate so much I cried the first time I saw it. it moved me a lot
Because it was pointed out by several people here and IRL that I say 'I'm fine' rather a lot, even if I am not in fact fine. And Steph (Kyaneos) linked me to this clip of Friends and here we are...

I have a Simpsons/Weird Al crossover quote because The Simpsons is a favourite show of mine & Weird Al is one of my favourite artists ever.
The insig reference is because insignificant_one is a lot to type and I thought I would make it easier for everyone.
The voices quote is from Peter Grimes by Benjamin Britten but I chose it because I hear voices and I can't drown them out.
I saw Rillic's quote in her? signature and I liked it so I copied it in my signature.
Kat was a friend that died last year quite suddenly aged 25 and I will never forget her. She was cremated so she doesn't have a grave that I can visit so this is my way of remembering her and showing respect.

The Death Eater gif makes me laugh. Lyrics are from different songs by my favourite band of all time, No Doubt (Underneath It All, Settle Down and a Everything in Time). And mine & my OH's anniversary because I'm as soppy as feck.

Mine is a line from the Muse song 'invincible'. It just really stuck with me ever since i heard the song for the first time and there is so much truth in that one line....
Some quotes I find true and logical. Nothing speaks to me as much as those quotes I have, it's something special that links with what I feel and what I felt. The last isn't quoted because I came up with it, and seems pretty right.

My signature quotes are those I've found to speak to me. Of course, the lovely Thoreau, and another anonymous quote that I live by in every aspect of life. If you never try, you'll never fail. But you'll also never succeed either. :)

I love Jack Sparrow, sometimes need people to leave my hidden stuff alone/be careful with it even if it doesn't seem that important, and the fine thing is something I heard at various recovery things when ever people bullshitted about being 'fine' and seemed to fit. AimKaty is a reference to a very special star constellation invented but an amalgamation of Aimee and Katy ('cos we are just too cool :P)

The first quote is a song lyric that I have tattooed on my arm to cover my scars.
The second is from lean on me, and I think it's pretty true of a lot of people.
The pic is because I'm proud to be gay and disabled

Amanda Palmer's eyes because I <3 her; a line from Illusion, my favourite VNV Nation song; the next line is from somewhere that I forgot but I really like it (think it was from Amanda Palmer or something...); the last line is from Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, my ex bought me an awesome necklace with the quote inside and I really love it so yeah.
I have had the same signature for years and can't be bothered to change it. Also because it means that people recognise me. I've also had the same avatar since I joined. Haha.
