I like to think I have a lot to offer this board too. My girlfriend Collette (kidwiththechemicals, from way back when) would be able to offer some sound advice too, if she was still on the boards.

I agree, this is something that I tend to get into trouble with sometimes and its nice to have a board dedicated to it.

i think the board is kinda hidden...thats why theres not more people here...i think the statistics say something like 53% of people who SI abuse drugs and alcohol...it could be more it might be 63%...i dont remember...

Hey guys! It's nice to see a few people interested in helping out!

I will let Harley know about this thread because he's the only one who can decide who becomes mods or advisors or whatever.

So far, the First Aid section is the only forum that has advisors, but we also have alot of RYL Supporters around the place who in addition to doing live chats to help people, they also post on alot of the threads where people need some support or advice.

Maybe this forum could use some Advisors ... I'll see what Harley thinks, but until then, there's nothing to stop you guys from using your expertise to help out with answering the threads on here. And that's how people usually get noticed for staff positions anyway - by answering threads, and being very helpful and knowledgeable in their replies on the forums ... and of course, being beyond reproach with the abiding the rules. And the rules are very tricky when it comes to this forum - you need to give someone enough advice to be helpful, but also in a way that doesnt tip share or 'glamorise' alcohol and/or drug use in any way.

Thanks for your show of interest Phoenix, Lewis and qwerty .... I will definitely pass along a link to this thread to Harley.
