Kiran can 'rate' threads, but I cannot work out how to do this.
Anyone know what the craic is with this?

It should be in the top right hand side, next to search.
I think only some threads are rateable.

I thought it came with staff permissions, I know as a mod it was possible. Does Kiran have any mod like powers as part of being on the community team boards (ie team leaders? )

I can now see that two people have rated my thread (thanks folks!) when viewing the main FCQ board, but can't see any option to rate anything myself :'( I should have the exact same powers as Kiran, as we are both members and community team members, unless Kiran has a secret extra power that isn't listed on her profile?

Kiran as far as I know is a normal CT member but I shall check!
Kiran is a member of another staff team which is likely to be where her powers come from!
As far I know it's a staff member thing but I don't think it is used.

You can see it on the right hand side of the screen in the window showing all of the names of the threads; this is the only one of FCQ that has it and it's shown as a succession of stars. You can also see it in the bar directly above the title once in a thread, again on the right hand side as a succession of stars. I think you should be able to see it as I can see it if I enter as a guest so viewing it isn't a staff power.
