Levomepromazine

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone else there has been on levomepromazine (aka nozinan)?
My consultant agreed that I could have some on a prn basis. It has helped calm me in the past where other meds have failed. When I mentioned this med to him he was like "what?" Not many people have heard of it or even prescribed it. Which is the problem, as last time the GP writing the scripts didn't know it and pharmacies never seemed to stock it?! Anyone else had trouble getting meds for similar reasons. It was soo frustrating I stopped it. Hopefully my consultant will have explained it to the GP in a letter.

I have never been on this but usually if you go to the same pharmacy to put scripts in they have to keep that med in stock if it's not in stock already... thats what happens over here anyway.

Yeah, my anti-depressant,Aurorix, isn't stocked, usually, but all that means is that I have to let them know I need it about a week before hand.
