New threads needing review
does every new thread have to be checked over by a moderator now? i've tried posting and every time (twice in self harm once in serious) if states it has to be reviewed. which is kind of annoying....

Well it's the same thread 3 times, or rather 3 attempts. So it's obviously not a bug or anything...at least not a one off bug. My guess, given that this is a forum, is it's some kind of permissions thing

Hi, I've approved one of your threads in self-injury advice and discussion. I haven't approved the other two as they were duplicates, and that doesn't lead to the best responses.

About 18 months ago we had a huge issue with spam it was taking forever to deal with it. (I know cause I spent most of my christmas hols deleting it all!!)
As a result spam catchers were put into place so new members posting certain things fall foul of this hence there threads needing approval it is very random what gets stopped but is also necessary as an example the new spam things have blocked over 25000 new spam registrations.
