I'm so sorry you're feeling bad after your appointment. Often doctors dont have any idea the effect their words can have, if they did they probably wouldnt say half the stuff that they do say. If you know in your heart the truth then dont listen to him. Only you know how you really feel. Can you go back to the other doctor or get another opinion. I wouldnt recommend stopping your meds without a doctor suggesting it.

Today I'll try to become more aware of alternatives that I haven't yet realised.
Although I have no control over other people's reactions or thoughts, I can change the way I react.

this doctor sounds like a cruel idiot. Find a new doctor then report this icky one to the medical board! it may be difficult but if he is saying to others the kind of things he is saying to you, he is seriously dangerous!

don't stop your meds without a doc's supervision

please find another doctor. it is awful that he is dismissing your problems like that. Please find someone who is professionally trained and can help you.

in the meantime, keep on talking. please let me know how i can help.

a gentle cherishing hug,
susan

My husband is my best friend.

In forgiving others, we are not exonerating them. They may not deserve exoneration. Rather, in forgiving others we are giving up our anger over the fact that what happened is not what "should" have happened or that our life is not the way it "should" have been.
