Wow, that's a lot of stress to be under.
I think it would be best to tell your mh team, it's good that you recognise that you're heading towards a crisis and you have the chance to get help before it spirals out of control.
Why would the RCN be watching you? With all the student nurses and qualified nurses in this country, why would they be following you?
You say people would be disappointed in you, but you need to think about what's best for you right now, not what's best for everyone else. Your health and wellbeing should come first.
I don't know how things work with placements, but would it be possible to reduce the hours during the week and extend the time of the placement. 40 hours a week is a hell of a lot and would be stressful for anyone, but 10x harder when you have a mental illness to contend with as well.

It sounds like you are under a great deal of stress at the minute, it is understandable that this could have an impact on your mood. Well done on reaching out to us.
I understand that you are currently on night shifts at the minute that is only going to negatively impact on your mood it is also going to make it more difficult to put things in place to help your mood. How many more night shifts do you have left to do? Could you separate the stressful things in your life into *need to worry about now and *can wait till nights are playing havoc with things?
I'm sorry that your boyfriend has suggested a break, did he give any idea of the time line for this break? I don't know about you but having things that are uncertain in my life really impacts on my mood. Where do you see the relationship going? If you can't see the break helping the relationship it might help you to call it a day now rather than let it peter out. Alternatively if you do want the relationship to continue could you sit him down and challenge him on his real motivation for the break.
Was it on a night shift that you started to have the hallucinations? If so, if they happen again could you play on the new to night shifts and say something like "oh my eyes are playing tricks on me could have sworn that bag just moved, my mind isn't quite adjusted to being up all night, hehehe. Do you mind if I go grab a sip of water?"
Have you team given you any tips in the past on how to deal/manage/challenge the suicidal and paranoid thoughts? Has there anything that has helped in the past?

Do you have a crisis plan? What does that say?
Maybe phone mind line might be able to help?
I think it would be good for you to talk to someone as you are under a lot of stress which will impact your mh and I think you need support in coping with all of that.

Thanks you for all the advice and support.
I was at a social event with my mental health team today and I managed to tell the assistant psychologist how I was feeling. He passed it onto the team and they are gonna do daily assessments to determine my mental state and decide if they need to intervene more or less, ect.
I almost feel a relief that I have told them because I'm no longer fighting this alone. I'm glad you guys encouraged me to do that. Thanks you.
I have a meeting with my support worker at my housing in 10mins and she has been made aware by the team. So she will be able to support me too.
In regards to my boyfriend; I don't really want to deal with him right now there is enough sh** going on in my head right now. I'll leave him for another day.
I only have one night shift left thanks god.

That's brilliant that you've managed to reach out for support! :)
I think it's a good idea to let the relationship stuff take a back seat for a while, you have enough going on right now.
Very well done for surviving the night shifts! That can't have been easy!

I think you did the right thing by letting your mental health team know. Is there anything that could be put in place to make your placement earlier?
I think if you can get well you will be awesome as a nurse and when I say get well I mean stablish.
I know the ward your on and it's not an easy ward but you've said your enjoying it so I wonder if you could put some thoughts down of what you enjoy about it so when your down you can look at them.

Thanks guys. I already spoken to my team today they are gonna call me again later. They are trying to decide weather they need to get home treatment team involved or not. I would prefer that to hospital so hopefully that will happen.

Yea my care coordinator called me and said that the team are suggesting HTT. So they are coming to see me tonight.
The police are on there way over because I called them about a white van sitting outside my house. The man on the phone wasn't very helpful. The think because I have mental health problems that the van is not there. Why would I lie about it I never call the police and I wouldn't bother them unless I though it was important. Why would I waste police time? Anyway someone is coming around to check. It's creepy because he sits outside a lot.

hope all goes well with the HTT and police. they probably don't think you're making it up about the van, just that there's a chance your experiencing something that's not there and they need to check.

The police wouldn't do anything because there was no proof that I was being follow so that issue was kind of left. Which I'm annoyed about.
Htt were good this morning. The lady who I saw was really kind and helpful. Then I called them tonight saying I feel suicidal and they just told me to take my meds and go to bed which wasn't very helpful.
My friend is staying with me tonight to help me stay safe which is nice of her x
