This is called coedine withdrawal. It manifests in flu like symptoms as the body becomes used to the drug and then when you stop taking it the body cries out for it. try to cut down on intake gradually until you are off it completely or just take one a day to stop the symptoms.
It became like a sort of prison. Encased in a silver shell, words so full of bleeding need spilled like drops on dry leaves. And all the while laughter prevailed a long way from here. Nowhere land, nowhere time, nowhere space.
take less every day. start off with one less then one less again. is it prescription?

Just try to cut down or you'll ruin your liver. take the recommended dose if you can.

If you're willing to get professional help, I advise going to your GP and telling them you've been overdosing. They'll then get you blood tests to check for liver damage, and they can guide you on how to get some sort of counselling to help you stop doing it. They won't judge, they'll have seen it before, they'll just want to help you.
Cocodamol had a narrow therapeutic index, i.e. the difference between a medicinal dose and a toxic dose is very small. Liver damage can go undetected and unsymptomatic for a long time, so even small overdoses now can leave you with problems you might really regret down the line even once you've kicked the habit. It's one of those medicines where they're not joking about the recommended dose. Get help now.
How best to cut down depends. How much have you been taking and how often? If your current withdrawal symptoms are like a mild flu then I recommend fighting the symptoms and going cold turkey. It sucks but after a couple of days the physical symptoms will improve and you can concentrate on getting yourself psychologically healthy. Start immediately. Do not let it get one bit worse than what it's at now. Major opiate withdrawal is hell on earth and can be one of the hardest things a person ever has to go through. Do not under any circumstances let yourself get to that stage.
I envy the fact that you can get it over the counter there. I posted in your other thread. When I've tried to wean myself off opiates, I go VERY slowly. I'll take 1/4 less every day. Sometimes I'll take say 6 per day for a week, then 5 a day for a week and so fourth. Here in the states there is a drug called suboxone which has naloxone in it which is an opiate blocker. It also has an opiate in it and therefore has been very helpful in aiding people with withdrawal. Good luck!

Depending on how much you were taking, it should peak maybe 2 days after you last took it. Then the worst is over and it's upwards from then on. Hang in there.

Stick with it. when was the last time you took it. it's better to go through it now then it getting worse.

I can relate to your situation and I wanted to let you know that you're not alone. I was initially started on opiates due to a physical health condition which was known to cause pain, however I know take it for the wrong reasons although I am getting professional medical help with this.
As I'm sure you know, taking any form of OD is very serious, especially tablets like Co-codamol as they contain paracetamol which is very harmful to your organs. I would strongly recommend seeing your GP about this.
Do you take the tablets because you're in physical pain? Are you getting any counselling/psychotherapy?
Well forget about dying anyway and take each day as it comes x
